Devlog #3: Progress Update

Hello people!

I’m back with an update on the progress of the next version of Aunt’s House!

Story = 35%
Props = 40%
Bug Fixes = 10%
Animations = 60%
Planned Features (Mechanics) = 80%

As you can see, there’s still a lot of work to be done, so the update delay I mentioned on Discord will unfortunately need to be confirmed. I underestimated the workload required for the planned features, and here we are. The update will be delayed by 2-4 weeks, with the supporter version now planned for release in mid-to-late January. I’ll do my best to deliver it sooner, of course!

I won’t go into too much detail, but two major gameplay mechanics are currently being developed. A lot of code is being written, and many animations are being created :D One of these mechanics is the H-Scene system, that I had to rewrite and the other is currently a secret. These are the main time-consuming tasks at the moment and the reason for the delay :)

To release the update sooner, I’ll need to cut some other planned features, that are less important. So things like the cheat menu and gallery will have to wait for the update after the next one.

So for now it's all i can tell you about the next update. I will now get back to work to release the game sooner :D
